Autumn – we’ve given up on summer, it wasn’t our best. Looking forward to some awesome autumn riding.
We’re off developing some great new rides over the next few months for the coming season. We hope you’ll join us for some even greater rides soon.
Our first project is to cut through some vineyards and farms on our vineyard tours and miss the main road for even more of this great day trip. Just one more group to approach and we’ll be off road. Yippee!
We are working with local farmers, farm stay and accommodation providers to connect Gisborne to the new Motu Cycle way and the Pakehi track. This is really exciting for us as there’s some awesome roads that are a joy to ride. We’ve met some really nice people to date and we are looking forward to meeting many more in the coming months. You can email us if your interested in trail blazing with us.
NEW TOURS RELEASED
We recently launched two new tours which take you to Eastwoodhill, the national arboretum of New Zealand. Check out our day tour, Eastwoodhill Express, and two day tour Rere to Gisborne via Eastwoodhill. These trips are truly magical especially waking up in the arboretum to the sound of the native birds and being treated to a gourmet feast by the Tasty Leaf caterers.
A Kinaki city cultural tour was also launched to the Great New Zealand Touring Route, Pacific Coast Highway team. This is a really interesting tour that takes you back in time to the arrival of Kiwa and more recently Cook. Our guide, Kohi, is a magnificent story teller and will enlighten you to our rich history. This tour takes 2-2.5 hours but you get to keep the bikes for the remainder of the day and discover more of what Gisborne has to offer.
We’ve got friendly guides available to introduce you to the region, the wine makers and wineries, the rich history and keep you entertained on all of our tours.
